Atharva Deore, an 18-year-old resident of Jalna, Maharashtra, has been nominated as Advisory Director of Gaurishankar Nagri Sahakari Patsanstha, Maryadit, Jalna, making him the youngest advisory director in India’s cooperative sector.

The nomination, which took effect on March 11, 2026, breaks the previous record held by Swati, aged 21, as reported by the Times of India.
