On Thursday, November 20, 2025, Dina Titus, representing Nevada in the US Congress, has released the contents of a letter she has previously sent to the Governor of Nevada Joe Lombardo. In the letter, the congresswoman questions the consequences, process and justification of the dropping of the investigation, citations and fine issued earlier by Nevada OSHA to The Boring Company. Just a day before, on November 19, the State of Nevada Department of Business & Industry has published the press release denying the allegations of any political interference.
