Nigerian Afrobeat singer Shinekuti has released a new single titled “Kotelemilole“, which became available worldwide on September 9, 2025. The artist, born Oluwashina Micheal Orogun and originally from Ikare-Akoko in Ondo State, described the track as a significant point in his creative journey.
According to Shinekuti, Kotelemilole blends contemporary Afrobeat rhythms with motivational themes inspired by his personal experiences. He stated the single represents perseverance and growth, and is aimed at connecting with listeners both in Nigeria and internationally. The track is available across major streaming platforms, including AppleMusic and Spotify.
Shinekuti, born June 13, 2001, began recording music in 2014 and has continued to develop his sound within Nigeria’s evolving Afrobeat scene. The artist said the release is part of his effort to expand his audience and strengthen his presence in the music industry.
