On December 13th, an armed gunman entered a building at Brown University and killed two people and also injured nine more. A few days later, police think the same person went to MIT and shot and killed one more person, a professor. After a long manhunt lasting 5 days, yesterday, December 18th, police located where he, the suspect was. Police entered a storage facility in Salem, New Hampshire, and found the suspected gunman,assumed to be dead by a self-inflicted gunshot. Police do not have a motive yet.

One of the clues in the investigation came from a Connecticut research facility, being able to find a DNA profile from a dropped shell casing. The suspect, Claudio Valente used a rental car in Boston after the incident, which may have been used to get to Salem, New Hampshire.
