Dhaka, Bangladesh — On February 16, 2026, the Bangladesh Film Archive Museum preserved a clay promotional poster created for the Bangladeshi film Kagoj (The Paper), according to local media reports.
Artist Rinku
The poster was created through clay/terracotta as part of the promotion of the film, unlike the usual printed or designed digitally for film promotion. According to reports, the work is a sculptural relief piece that is three-dimensional, created by artist Rinku along with assistants supervised by director Ali Zulfikar Zahedi, taking a month to complete.[1][2]

According to sources close to the project, the poster was made between 2022 and 2023. After the poster was showcased to the public, it gained popularity for its unconventional material and artistic style. Because of its perceived cultural and artistic significance, the poster was chosen for preservation by the national archive..[3]

Observers have noted that the preservation of promotional materials can reflect a broader recognition of such objects as cultural artifacts beyond their original marketing purpose.[4]
