On Monday, former Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro was taken out of an intensive care unit after having been taken to DF Star Hospital and treated with bronchopneumonia in Brasilia on Friday.
He was placed into a semi ICU status as of Monday. Doctors had been giving him antibiotics since Saturday. Michelle Bolsonaro went on Instagram and said that testing showed reduced inflammation in her husband.
The hospital did not verify whether Bolsonaro’s admission to a semi-ICU actually occurred. Bolsonaro has been in hospital many times after being stabbed at a event before his 2018 presidential election.
