Costa del Sol hosts training visit from the Willy Scharnow Foundation
Málaga, Spain — The Costa del Sol Tourism Board hosted a group of German travel agents this week as part of a training visit organized by the Willy Scharnow Foundation for Tourism. The program was designed to strengthen professional ties with the German travel market and showcase tourism offerings in the province of Málaga.
According to a statement from the Málaga Provincial Council, the visit is part of the Costa del Sol’s international promotion strategy, aiming to highlight the region’s cultural and natural attractions to European tour operators.
During the program, participants visited Málaga city, Ronda, Marbella, and the Caminito del Rey. The group also attended a presentation held aboard a catamaran operated by Mundo Marino, a maritime tourism company based in Dénia, chosen to emphasize the importance of sustainable nautical experiences in Andalusia’s tourism model.
