Daniel Akpan, a social media consultant based in Nigeria, has announced a new digital strategy initiative aimed at supporting small businesses and independent creators in improving their online visibility. The initiative focuses on helping participants better understand platform algorithms, content planning, and audience engagement across major social media networks including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), YouTube, and LinkedIn.
According to Akpan, the program was created in response to increasing demand from small business owners who struggle to compete for attention in crowded digital spaces. The initiative includes guidance on content structure, brand messaging, and performance tracking, with the goal of helping participants adopt more organized and data-driven approaches to social media use.
Akpan said the project is intended to promote sustainable online growth rather than short-term viral success. He noted that many small businesses rely heavily on social media for customer acquisition, but often lack the technical or strategic knowledge required to use these platforms effectively.
The initiative is currently being rolled out online, with participation open to entrepreneurs, startups, and content creators seeking to improve their digital communication and marketing practices.
