Florence + the Machine has announced their sixth studio album, titled “Everybody Scream”.

The British indie pop-rock band shared the news on social media August 19, 2025, with the message “Florence and the Machine. Everybody Scream. The new album. This Halloween.” This will be their first album since 2022’s “Dance Fever“, though they have released several singles such as “Mermaids” and “Just a Girl“, a cover of the band No Doubt‘s song, which they recorded for the television series Yellowjackets.

Lead singer Florence Welch had previously teased new music in a cryptic slideshow of photos on Instagram. One photo showed her in a studio with The Idles guitarist Mark Bowen, and another showed a whiteboard with various phrases written on it, including the words “Swans vs. Adele”, which some felt was a reference to the English singer of the same name. Last week, she had shared a video of herself digging a hole in the ground and screaming into it, which some fans found “unsettling”.

“Everybody Scream” will be released on October 31, 2025. Though no tracklist has been confirmed, the song will feature 12 tracks, four of which will be made into additional “chamber versions” on deluxe editions of CDs and vinyls, several of which are currently available for pre-order.
