Four years ago today, Cody Posey was released from prison after six years in custody. He could have been incarcerated for life, but a huge mitigating factor was that the father was very abusive and cruel on a daily basis. Even prosecutors, who initially deemed Cody to be a cold and calculated killer capable of doing it again, softened up and granted leniency, sentencing him to prison only up to age 21. He was released on October 9, 2010, his twenty-first birthday.
Tomorrow is his 25th birthday. Happy birthday, Cody!
