A bold new musical project has emerged from Venezuela’s turbulent cultural and political landscape. Odio a Maduro (“Hate Maduro”) is the title of the latest album that directly confronts the country’s authoritarian government, openly criticizing the regime of Nicolás Maduro through music, protest, and art.

The album, released in May 2025, combines powerful lyrics with emotional melodies, blending genres that reflect both anger and resilience. Each track highlights the suffering of Venezuelans under dictatorship while giving voice to a generation demanding freedom and change.

Songs like Crisisdosis, Muerto en Vida, No Soporto Esto Más, and Venezuela Resiste resonate with the pain of economic collapse, censorship, and exile, while others like Fuera Dictador and Naguara Venezuela serve as rallying cries of hope and national pride.

The creator, José Rafael Cordero Sánchez, describes the album not just as music, but as a form of testimony and resistance. “This is not only an artistic project—it’s a chronicle of what our people are living through every day,” he stated in a press note.

Critics view Odio a Maduro as more than an album: it is a cultural weapon, using art to document and challenge one of Latin America’s most repressive regimes.
