Online dog training app PawChamp has added French-language support to its Android app in an update dated November 21, 2025, expanding its AI-based training service to French-speaking dog owners. The change is documented on the app’s English-language Google Play listing and a separate French-language version of the page titled “PawChamp – éducation canine”.
The French Play Store page describes PawChamp as a “modern and personalised” dog-training app approved by more than 250,000 dog owners worldwide and says it was “conçue avec des éducateurs canins certifiés, des comportementalistes et des experts du chien” (“designed with certified trainers, behaviourists and dog experts”) to address behaviour problems such as leash pulling, puppy biting, barking, separation anxiety and reactivity.
An iOS version of the app, “PawChamp – Dog Training & Care”, is available via Apple’s App Store. The store description states that PawChamp is a “modern, personalized dog training app trusted by 250,000+ dog parents worldwide” and highlights daily step-by-step lesson plans, video lessons, quizzes, streak tracking and other features. The app is also profiled on external directories such as Toolify and HuntScreens, which describe it as an AI-supported dog-training and care companion with personalised training plans and 24/7 chat access to dog specialists.
Beyond the mobile app, PawChamp operates a French-language version of its online journal, hosting articles on topics such as basic care, puppy training and reactivity, accessible via the company’s website. Recent French-language posts include guides on managing aggressive dogs and senior-dog care, indicating a wider localisation effort for educational material.
PawChamp previously attracted international attention after topping the daily leaderboard on technology discovery platform Product Hunt on October 26, 2025, effectively making it the site’s “Product of the Day”. Analytics site AIToolly ranked PawChamp first among 29 products that day with 455 votes in its “ProductHunt Daily Top” summary, while PH Deck listed PawChamp at the head of its table for the same date. On its Product Hunt listing, the app is described as a “Dog Training and Care Companion” combining an AI assistant with 24/7 access to dog experts and is tagged under Productivity, Social & Community, and Health & Fitness, with user reviews also collected on a dedicated reviews page.
The company later published its own account of the launch in a PawChamp Journal article titled “PawChamp Product of the Day on Product Hunt”, available on the company’s website, highlighting feedback from dog owners who reported calmer walks, clearer routines and positive experiences with the combination of AI guidance and human expert support. In a November 2025 comparative review on music and culture site Gigwise, published as “Legit or Scam? PawChamp, Woofz, SpiritDog Training — Best Dog Training Apps Review”, animal behaviour specialist Dr Peyton Carter wrote that PawChamp stood out among newer services for combining short, achievable daily lessons with science-based methods and said its plans cover topics from puppy basics to reactivity, impulse control and separation anxiety.
The French localisation follows a broader expansion of PawChamp’s content and marketing into international markets. The company’s methods page states that its training programmes are based on positive reinforcement and the LIFE (“Least Inhibitive, Functionally Effective”) approach, with an emphasis on ethical, science-based techniques, while its user guide positions the app as a tool to help owners “build a stronger bond” and “tackle challenges” in everyday life with their dogs.
