A Bangladesh Air Force F-7 BGI training jet crashed onto the campus of Milestone School and College in Dhaka’s Uttara neighborhood on Monday, killing more than one dozen. Dozens more were injured, most of which were students.
According to military sources, the jet crashed shortly after taking off, and instantaneously burst into flames. The incident occurred while classes were in session on the campus.
Rescuers utilized tricycle rickshaws and other makeshift devices to transport victims to area hospitals.
Muhammad Yunus, interim leader of Bangladesh, stated that the incident would be investigated.
