The United Nations Security Council convened at Russia’s request to discuss the human cost of the ongoing war in Ukraine and alleged violations of international law. Russia accused Ukraine of targeting a dormitory in the occupied Luhansk region on Friday, reporting that six people, including children, died and dozens were injured in the attack. Kyiv denied targeting a civilian building, asserting that it struck a Russian military drone command center.
